Refund Policy
Last updated: 2026-10-24. Applies to TideDesk subscriptions only. Guest deposits are handled by the resort you booked with.
14-day free trial
Every new account starts with a 14-day free trial on the Cove plan. No payment card is required to start the trial. If your trial ends and you do not subscribe, your workspace pauses: new bookings and setup changes stop until you pick a plan, no payment is ever taken, and your existing reservations stay viewable and their status can still be updated.
How paid plans work
Every paid cycle is prepaid: one payment from Billing activates one month (or one year). Nothing renews or charges automatically, so there is no subscription to cancel. To stop, simply do not pay the next cycle. Access continues until the end of the period you already paid for; then new bookings pause and your existing reservations stay manageable. You can pay a new cycle from Billing at any time to resume.
Monthly cycles
A monthly cycle is not refundable once paid, and we do not issue pro-rata refunds for an unused part of a month. Because nothing renews automatically, you are never charged for a month you did not choose to pay.
Annual cycles
Annual cycles are paid once (12 months for the price of 10). If you ask within 30 days of paying an annual cycle, we refund the full months not yet started. After 30 days, the annual cycle is non-refundable, and your access continues until the end of the paid year.
Founding-100 subscriptions
Founding-100 is the Cove plan at ₱999/month, with that price locked for 12 months from first paid activation. The lock is a price guarantee, not a 12-month commitment: founding cycles are prepaid and never renew automatically, and you may stop at any time by not paying the next cycle. Monthly founding cycles follow the monthly rules above, and annual founding cycles follow the annual rules.
Guest deposits
TideDesk never holds guest money. Guest deposits are collected by the resort through the resort's own payment provider (PayMongo, bank transfer, or cash). Any refund of a guest deposit is between you and the resort, processed in the resort's own account under the resort's own cancellation policy. TideDesk does not decide deposit disputes.
How to request a refund
File a "Plan & billing" request from your workspace Help page within the refund window (owners and managers; the Help page stays available while your plan is paused). Refunds are not self-serve: the TideDesk team reviews each request and issues approved refunds manually from TideDesk's own PayMongo account back to the original payment method. Timing then depends on the payment method and typically takes 5-10 business days to appear on your statement.
